Ostro builds steel buildings for military and government installations — firearms training ranges, secure storage, and maintenance facilities. We engineer and fabricate every building in our own factory just outside Augusta and ship it factory-direct, and our engineers work to the building codes and specifications government installations require. Our red iron clear-span frames open the entire floor, so ranges, bays, and storage can be laid out without interior columns.

Engineered for the Mission

The same clear-span shell adapts across roles. Firearms training ranges can be engineered to meet ballistic requirements, with space for varied scenarios; storage buildings are configured to hold everything from ammunition to vehicles safely; and maintenance structures provide the framing and clearance to service large, complex equipment. Roof and ceiling supports support bridge cranes, multi-ton HVAC units, and other systems overhead, keeping the floor clear.

Secure Access and Hardened Construction

Security is built in. Secure door systems with biometric, keycard, and reinforced locking control access to sensitive areas, and exterior options like tamper-resistant fasteners, masonry, ACM, and fiber cement add a hardened outer layer against environmental and man-made threats.

Climate Control and Sound Management

Insulation is specified to your R-value and climate, keeping personnel comfortable and operating costs down. It also cuts noise — important around firearms ranges — for a quieter environment inside and around the building.

Finished, Functional Interiors

Interiors are built out to suit the role: steel liner panel, drywall, partition walls for offices and briefing rooms, plus framing for electrical and networking systems. When a facility needs more space in the same footprint, an Ostro Mezzanine System adds a second level for storage or workspace.
